ProCurve Manager Plus
ProCurve Manager Plus 2.1 is a secure, advanced Windows-based network
management tool that allows administrators to configure, update, monitor
and troubleshoot ProCurve devices centrally with easy-to-use screens. The
administrator can configure template policies that will take automated
actions in response to network events from a variety of sources. The management
tool can run on its own or with HP OpenView Network Node Manager integration,
allowing administrators to monitor multi vendor networks while leveraging
ProCurve-specific adaptive EDGE management functions. ProCurve Manager
Plus can also be enhanced with plug-in modules, such as Identity Driven
Manager, to provide additional mobility, security and convergence features.
ProCurve Identity Driven Manager
ProCurve Identity Driven Manager is a plug-in for ProCurve Manager Plus
that dynamically applies security, access and performance settings to network
infrastructure devices based on user, device, location, time and client
system state so that access and rights are granted automatically to approved
users wherever and whenever they connect to the network. Standards-based
and easy to use, Identity Driven Manager allows administrators to define
and manage policies from a central location, eliminating the need to configure
each network element separately. By automatically managing intelligent
network access in this way, Identity Driven Manager gives administrators
more control over their networks, more productivity from their IT staff
and more adaptability in an increasingly competitive business environment.
ProCurve Mobility Manager
ProCurve Mobility Manager 1.0, a plug-in module for the ProCurve Manager
Plus platform, provides a simple yet powerful management tool to centrally
configure, update, monitor and troubleshoot ProCurve access points. Advanced
capabilities include rogue device detection, group-based access point configuration
and firmware updates and customisable quick-view screens. With Mobility
Manager 1.0 and ProCurve Manager Plus, network administrators can easily
master a dynamic network with an affordable, unified, industry-leading
network management solution for ProCurve business networks.
ProCurve Access Control Client Software
Access Control clients are a critical element of the ProCurve Access Control
Security solution. They provide a comprehensive solution to the network
access control problem in a multi-platform environment. The Access Control
Security solution provides wide support to most customer authentication
needs with support for operating environments including Microsoft® Windows®
98, Microsoft® Windows® 2000, and Microsoft® Windows® XP; Red Hat Linux;
and Apple Mac OS. In addition, the back-end interoperability with leading
RADIUS authentication vendors completes an industry-leading Access Control
Security solution.
