An experienced Project Manager will be assigned to manage the forecasting, planning and implementation of new systems or major upgrades. Britannic use Prince 2 Methodology to ensure that projects and applications development are delivered in a controlled manner.
All areas of co-ordinations in relation to your installation will be project managed by our support staff. This begins with programming and pre-installation meetings and continues beyond the installation, through the comprehensive training programmes and the ongoing project/account management to ensure the continued development of your system.
On receipt of a new contract, Britannic will assign a technical project manager to oversee the implementation of the system. Over a 6 - week period the following actions will need to be agreed by relevant parties.
Subject to our site survey, we believe your installation will take approximately three days to complete with the changeover taking place outside of working hours so that there is minimum disruption to your staff and normal business practices.
Standard Implementation Procedure:
- Ordering of Equipment.
- Ordering of ISDN & Analogue lines from BT.
- Discussion on retention of existing lines and switchboard numbers.
- Programming requirements for individual sites.
- Ceasing of existing system and old cabling where appropriate.
- Installation of lines in time for installation and agreement on DDI ranges.
- Training issues to be discussed and agreed.
- Changeovers procedure - commissioning of cabinets and cabling.
- Training to be delivered before the system goes live.
- All areas of co-ordination in relation to your systems installation
will beproject managed by our support staff, as will your comprehensive
training programme, which will be tailored to satisfy your individual
requirements.
