Britannic have developed a directory tool called BriDIRECTORY enabling your business to benefit from insight into presence and availability and at the same time unify your various communication methods in one easy to use interface.

BriDIRECTORY is integrated with your telephony and email system, allowing you to view the current status of other users on the system. Colour coded icons indicate whether employees are currently logged in and available, on a call or have been away from their workstation for any length of time.

You can also instigate communication through various methods from the same tool, for example you can click to dial a phone number, send an SMS or send an email using BriDIRECTORY, all from your desktop.

Furthermore, should you receive an incoming call, BriDIRECTORY (using CTI) will discreetly screen pop the name, company and number of the person calling you, giving your customers the professional service they desire. In addition you can handle calls from your screen, with dial, redial, answer, hold, transfer, hang up, conference, call back and voicemail retrieval all possible through BriDIRECTORY.

Managing your contacts could not be simpler as the directory is split into 3 sections, internal users, corporate details (such as key customers and suppliers) and your email contacts (which are seamlessly imported into the application). Should you have contacts you regularly communicate with, you can add them to a buddies list for ease of access.

The application has a number of key benefits to your business, such as being able to view the availability of your colleagues. This greatly reduces the amount of time a person spends attempting to contact people who are unavailable and also reduces the need to put external contacts on hold while availability is established.

Presenting all of a persons contact details and additional information in one place saves time and also reduces the misdialling of phone numbers and misspelling of email addresses as well as other key benefits.
