1st Line NOC Technician

This excellent opportunity is to join our Network Operations Department which is pivotal in the design, deployment and onward support for the core products sold and supported within Britannic.  We work with industry-leading technology vendors to deliver business and carrier grade services into multisite organisations across the UK.

Is this you?

Ideally, you will have (or will be nearing the end of) an IT degree. Networking knowledge would be an advantage. Most importantly, if you’re as excited about technology as we are, want to deliver an exceptional professional service and happen to be looking for a career/ long-term future in a technical role, we should meet!

We love if you are ambitious and able to drive your own learning and focus, but we’ll also offer a full training schedule and support as part of the role to get you off the ground.

The position is varied and will eventually allow you to specialise in the role that mutually benefits you and Britannic. We want you to succeed and the role offers the right candidate an excellent platform to excel and extend their knowledge in a number of technical disciplines, so you have every opportunity to start your career on the right path.

You must be confident in speaking to people of all levels (technical and non-technical) as you will be required to attend customer meetings and talk confidently about technology.  Ideally you should have a keen interest in WAN / LAN technologies and have a solid understanding of internet, intranet and cloud-based systems.

Excellent written skills are a must as you will be assisting in the writing and shaping of technical proposals and tender responses, providing solution design and pricing.
