Business Development Representative
The Role
Location: Hybrid - Guildford, Surrey GU4 7WA
Hours: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive
We require a Business Development Representative who will be responsible for identifying, developing, and booking appointments for sales team from a number of sources, as well as working alongside Britannic’s Marketing team to support the conversion of generated inbound leads and ad-hoc marketing admin.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role involves lead generation and management, maintaining CRM data accuracy, and engaging with potential customers through outbound calls, emails, and online communication channels. The individual will work closely with sales and marketing teams to drive revenue growth and expand the company’s customer base.
This role is a Hybrid role and would suit someone who lives local to Guildford. You should have at least two years’ previous experience in a similar role.
Specific Roles Responsibilities
- Lead Generation & Prospecting – Identify potential customers using on-line tools, Apollo, Kaspr and intent data
- Sales & Business Development – Presenting and promoting Britannic products and services
- Relationship Management – Nurture leads through a mix of proactive outreach, including emails, phone calls and LinkedIn messaging.
- Pipeline & CRM Management – Ensure accurate and up to date records in the HubSpot CRM system, tracking leads lifecycle
- Collaboration & Market Insights – Working closely with Marketing and the Sales Team to align sales strategies and business goals.

Must-haves
- Live locally to Guildford and have their own transport
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships
- Ability to achieve or exceed sales appointment bookings in a competitive environment
- At least two-years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent Written and Verbal communication
Desirable Skills
- Proficiency in HubSpot CRM software and Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Understanding of Britannic’s products and services.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong time management skills.
- Telecommunication experience would be an advantage
- Degree in Marketing
