Britannic Shortlisted for Tech Company of the Year at the Thames Valley SME Growth 100 Awards

We’re delighted to announce that Britannic has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Tech Company of the Year category at the 2025 Thames Valley SME Growth 100 Ranking Awards - a recognition that celebrates innovation, growth and contribution to the regional economy.
Celebrating the Region’s Most Dynamic SMEs
Organised by The Business Magazine in association with Insider, the Thames Valley SME Growth 100 is an annual initiative that shines a spotlight on the region’s most ambitious and rapidly growing small and medium-size enterprises.
Now in its latest edition, the awards recognise organisations that have demonstrated exceptional performance across growth, innovation and leadership - the pillars that underpin the Thames Valley’s reputation as one of the UK’s most dynamic business ecosystems.
The 2025 shortlist highlights a diverse mix of SMEs spanning technology, manufacturing, professional services, and more - each making a tangible contribution to the region’s strength, resilience and innovation economy.
The celebrations will culminate later this month at an exclusive awards evening at Stanlake Park Wine Estate, where six trophies will be presented, recognising excellence in growth, innovation, and leadership.
A Recognition of Human-Led Innovation
Commenting on the shortlisting, Jonathan Sharp, CEO of Britannic Technologies, said:
“This recognition shines a light on the relentless work of our incredible team in developing human-led innovation that truly makes a difference. From bringing many firsts to market, to constantly pushing boundaries and finding new ways to create value for our clients. Our focus remains on helping people and organisations successfully embrace and grow with technology.
I introduced our Innovation Hub 4 years ago with a vision to explore new ideas and emerging technologies that solve real-world problems - across our colleagues, partners and clients.
It’s been fantastic to see ideas and capabilities from the Hub being embedded not only within our own solutions and client’s business operations, but also into the products and portfolios of global technology partners - a true testament to our innovation, foresight and capability.
It’s been inspiring to see the impact we’ve achieved together; driving growth, cost savings, human empowerment and improved customer experiences.
In a fast-moving market dominated by some of the largest tech companies in the world, it’s a real testament to our UK-based team that we consistently carve out new value and innovation, driving the market forward.
A great example is our digital voice platform, NetX, which continues to evolve and power next-generation experiences.”
Driving the Future of Digital Experience
Britannic’s ongoing innovations include:
- AI-powered workflows to streamline operations and automate processes.
- Live voice translation in 70+ languages, improving accessibility and reducing costs.
- Call and message branding to combat fraud and build customer trust.
- Amazon Alexa integration for inclusive, voice-led contact centre experiences.
- AI meeting insights and video learning packs that surface knowledge and accelerate development.
At the heart of these innovations lies Britannic’s Customer Success Programme — ensuring every technological deployment delivers measurable outcomes. As Jonathan puts it:
“Technology alone is only potential, but by working hand in hand with our customers through discovery, analysis, design and delivery, we ensure it drives real-world success underpinned by first-class customer case stories. That’s rare in this industry and it’s something we’re incredibly proud of.”
Shaping the Region’s Innovation Ecosystem
As one of the Thames Valley’s leading technology partners, Britannic remains committed to helping organisations design smarter, more human-centric digital ecosystems - powered by intelligent communication, data insights and collaboration tools.
Our inclusion as a finalist reflects not only the innovation within our solutions but also the collective drive of our people, partners, and customers to reimagine what’s possible in enterprise communication.
“A huge thank you to the Britannic team, our clients and our partners for making this possible.”
